Welcome to Schutzu Kennels. We concentrate on breeding, training and showing Shih Tzu's in conformation and obedience. Puppies and older dogs are available occasionally to loving, permanent homes. Please explore the other web pages to see pictures and other information. The pictures page shows current and former show dogs and other pictures of Shih Tzu's from our breeding program. The nursery page has pictures of our type of puppies as they grow.

We train them to use a puppy pads inside. Depending on the weather, they will also start outside training.

The babies are gold and white's with a few smaller type that will be less than 11 pounds when fully grown. All parents are CKC Canadian Champions or from champion lines.

Deposits ($500) to hold a puppy are required and are taken on a first come basis. Total cost for a registered pet, on a non-breeding contract, is $2500 which includes first vaccine, vet examination, CKC registration and microchip. We also provide a full puppy package which includes items needed for their new home along with socializing and care instructions.

Schutzu Kennels (reg.) is located 35 minutes west of the Toronto airport in Ontario, Canada. Fifteen minutes west of north Burlington or ten minutes south of Guelph. We're in the village of Freelton which is part of the greater Hamilton area. Easy to get to from the 401 or the QEW/403 along Hwy 6 North.
